Setup Helper for NASCAR Racing 2003 Season

Tire Temp Analysis

Use the tire temp analysis to adjust the static weight of the car to evenly distribute the load between all four corners. Use this tool for MAJOR setup adjustments or when you are starting from scratch. Suggestions will include camber, air pressure, spring rates, and weight bias settings. Use F5 to see when your tire temps have stopped climbing. A good rule of thumb is to check the temps after 15 - 20 laps for the long tracks; 35-40 laps for shorter tracks.

Corner Analysis

The corner analysis will provide suggestions for getting the car into and out of the turns more smoothly and (hopefully) at a higher sustained speed. Suggestions will include MINOR setup adjustments mainly to caster, shock, spoiler, and gear settings.

Setup Check

The setup check flags settings within your setup which are at the extremes. Adjustments near the extremes may not follow the "rules", thus potentially causing the opposite effect of what was intended. This tool does not provide any analysis, simply points out items you may want to take a closer look at.
